Finally an intern. Attached to material technology pte ltd.

What i thought would be a breeze, taxed me a lot. Though for the first week, it was only research and self-learning, so it was mentally taxing. I thought it would be fun and relaxing or just chill to research on my own pace. After 3 days, i take my words back. After taking about 1hour 30+mins to reach my workplace, i will have to spend 7 hours per day to searching for information, read the information and then digest the information to understand it, and then take another 1hour 30+mins to travel back home. It was pretty tiring and boring to be honest, but i believe it is for the best.

Carrying on, what i researched and learnt about are topics as such: Semiconductor packing process, specialty polymers for semiconductor application, elevated temperature curing of specialty polymers and wire bonding. Simplifying things would make it, semiconductor stuffs.

I had to research lots, because i had never came in to contact about any knowledge related to semiconductor before. I didn't even know what a wafer looked like, which made my supervisor pretty surprised.

I hope the following weeks will be more fun to carry out. ^^ Ended it all..
